GoldMark Programme

Kingdom/An Riocht are a delivery partner of the GoldMark Programme, which is led by Volunteer Now aimed at promoting and recognising sports volunteering for people aged 14 to 24 years old. GoldMark is a simple programme which requires young volunteers keep a Volunteer Record that is signed off by club and Ulster GAA co-ordinators. It builds on the success of Millennium Volunteers and is part supported by the Department of Education. Young sports volunteers are awarded for 50 hours, 100 hours or 200 hours of volunteering which is an award of excellence signed off by the Minister of Education. GoldMark awards can be used in job applications and for University/College applications.
